The Seminar Brief on Cocoons
A cocoon is an envelope often largely of silk which an
insect larva forms about itself and in which it passes the pupa stage
(Marriam-Webster dictionary). Cocoons have variety of building types with
unique and extraordinary structural features. On the seminar you will be
informed about the different types of cocoons and their unique structural
features and how we can relate and use these structural features on
architectural and computational design.
